About this role

Role Title: Product Management Specialist

micro1 is engaging Product Management Specialists to participate in a unique project supporting a client’s product development initiatives. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Analyze and synthesize complex product requirements, transforming them into clear, actionable documentation.
  2. Draft and review Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), product specs, and strategy memos for a variety of digital products.
  3. Evaluate, explain, and justify product roadmap prioritization decisions using structured reasoning and evidence-based analysis.
  4. Apply trade-off analysis and product discovery methodologies to scenario-based tasks, providing concise written recommendations.
  5. Communicate intricate product concepts, frameworks, and decisions through well-structured, audience-tailored written deliverables.
  6. Review and critique product proposals, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives, user needs, and business goals.
  7. Contribute product metrics assessment and experimentation insights for continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years of hands-on product management experience with ownership of shipped products.
  2. Demonstrated track record of producing high-quality written deliverables (e.g., PRDs, strategy documents, decision memos).
  3. Advanced analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to distill complex information for varied audiences.
  4. Proficiency in roadmap prioritization, product discovery, and stakeholder alignment.
  5. Exceptional command of written English and ability to communicate nuanced product concepts clearly.
  6. Background in working with leading technology organizations or top academic programs is highly regarded.
  7. Experience collaborating across distributed, global teams is a plus.
