This policy explains what information JobsNode collects when you visit jobsnode.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
The short version
If you choose to continue to a job application, JobsNode asks for your name, email address, state, and CV. We use this information to save your profile and, with your express consent, send personalized job alerts and weekly job summaries. JobsNode does not submit an application to the employer. You continue to the original listing and complete the employer's application process there.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The application step collects your full name, email address, US state, CV or resume, the job you selected, and the date and time of your consent. If you write to us, we also keep that message so we can reply and track corrections.
How we use application information
- To save and update your JobsNode candidate profile.
- To understand which roles you are interested in.
- To send job alerts and weekly summaries that match your state and interests.
- To protect the form from spam, fraud, and automated abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send your CV to an employer or claim that the JobsNode profile step is an employment application.
Storage and retention
Profile records are stored in Cloudflare D1. CV files are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket and are available only through the protected JobsNode administration area. CV files are automatically removed 12 months after the most recent upload. We may keep basic subscription and consent records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to records we must retain for legal or security reasons.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server data for every request, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and request time, to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals when you use the profile form to distinguish people from automated traffic.
Your choices
You can withdraw marketing consent, unsubscribe from emails, or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@jobsnode.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
Cookies and advertising
This site does not currently display advertising and sets no advertising cookies. This section will be updated before advertising is enabled.
Analytics
We do not run Google Analytics or cross-site tracking analytics. Aggregate traffic figures come from our host's request logs and are not tied to a JobsNode profile.
Links to other sites
Job listings link to employer and job board websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Their policies apply once you leave JobsNode.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. To exercise a privacy right, unsubscribe, or ask us to remove your CV and profile, email us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
We do not sell personal information and have never sold personal information.
Children
This site is aimed at working adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
